It has been another mediocre year for the Gold Coast Suns (6-10, 24 points) with many good signs and just as many poor ones.
Once again, they are is seemingly stuck in the middle to lower end of the competition and this can be summed up by their frustratingly inconsistent performances.
They come into this game however on the back of two wins against the GWS and Richmond and have the advantage of their home ground this Saturday afternoon.
The Bulldogs (12-4, 48 points) dropped a game they shouldn’t have against Sydney last weekend but credit needs to be given to the Swans who played four quarters of quality football.
They cling to second position on percentage only but there is a reason that they are the premiership favourites.
No one has scored more points than the Dogs in season 2021 and they also top the competition in average Centre Clearances as well as average Goal Assists.
The Bulldogs walloped the Suns 115-86 in their Round 5 meeting in Melbourne last April.
