The Golden State Warriors are off to a great start this season and they will next attempt to beat the Chicago Bulls on Friday.
The NBA-best Warriors (9-1) beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 123-110 on Wednesday to secure their fifth straight win.
Andrew Wiggins scored 35 points while Stephen Curry added 25 to lead the Warriors. Kevon Looney also made an impact after tallying 11 points and 17 rebounds.
Damion Lee and Draymond Green are both listed as game-time decision. Lee missed their last game due to hip soreness while Green made an early exit against the Wolves with a bruised left thigh.
The Bulls (8-3) will begin their five-game West Coast trip after recording wins against the Brooklyn Nets (118-95) and Dallas Mavericks (117-107).
Zach LaVine (23 points) and Lonzo Ball (21 points) starred in their win over the Mavericks on Wednesday. Nikola Vucevic (18 points, 10 rebounds), DeMar DeRozan (17 points) and Alex Caruso (16 points) also played well.
The bad news for the Bulls is Vucevic tested positive for Covid-19 and he won’t feature here and in their next few games. Coby White will also not be able to play due to a shoulder injury.
The Warriors have won their last eight meetings against the Bulls, who last won a game in the series in 2015.
