The Golden State Warriors kick off their four-game Eastern trip in Charlotte on Sunday.

They are looking to get their second win over the Hornets this season after posting a 114-92 triumph at San Francisco last November 3.

Jordan Poole scored 31 points while Stephen Curry added 15 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists to lead Golden State to their second straight win in the series. Damion Lee (15 points), Andrew Wiggins (14 points) and Gary Payton II (14 points) also played well for the Warriors.

Leading the Hornets were Miles Bridges (32 points, 9 rebounds) and Gordon Hayward (23 points, 11 rebounds).

The Warriors (11-1) have won their last seven games and they hold the best record in the NBA this season.

Behind Stephen Curry’s 40 points, the Warriors thrashed the Chicago Bulls 119-93 on Friday.

The two-time league MVP is expected to once again lead the Warriors in their rematch in Charlotte. He will get support from Poole, Wiggins and Draymond Green.

Lee is game-time decision after missing their last two games due to hip soreness.

The Hornets (7-7) are also inspired heading into this duel having beaten Memphis (118-108) and New York (104-96) in their last two games.

Bridges (24 points) and Hayward (22 points) led the way in their home victory over the Knicks last Friday. LaMelo Ball also made an impacty by registering 12 points, a career-high 17 rebounds and nine assists.

PJ Washington is the only Charlotte player who will not feature here due to an elbow injury.
