The Golden State Warriors remain the favourites to win the NBA title this season in the latest futures market at bet365.
The Warriors are currently priced at 3.80 to hoist the Larry O’Brien Trophy for the first time since 2018. Led by Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, the third-seeded Warriors eliminated the Denver Nuggets four games to one in the first round of the Western Conference play-offs.
Expected to give Golden State a run for their money are the Phoenix Suns and Boston Celtics, who are both priced at 5.00 to win the championship.
The No. 1 Suns, who lost to the Milwaukee Bucks in last year’s finals, currently lead the New Orleans Pelicans 3-2 in their best-of-seven series. The Suns have never won an NBA title.
The Celtics, meanwhile, earlier advanced to the second round of the Eastern Conference play-offs after sweeping the Brooklyn Nets in their first-round series. Boston are tied with the Los Angeles Lakers for the most NBA titles with 17 but they haven’t achieved success since 2008.
The Miami Heat can be backed at 6.50 to win their fourth NBA title. Erik Spoelstra’s boys are already through to the Eastern Conference semi-finals after eliminating the Atlanta Hawks, four games to one in the first round.
Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks are currently priced at 7.50 to repeat as champions. Last year’s winners are also through to the Eastern Conference finals after disposing of the Chicago Bulls in five games. They will play the Celtics in the next round.
