The Portland Trail Blazers are targeting back-to-back wins when they visit the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday night.
Chauncey Billups' side beat the Phoenix Suns 134-105 on Saturday. CJ McCollum scored 28 points while Damian Lillard added 19 points and eight assists to lead the Blazers (1-1) to their first win.
Reserve Anfernee Simons also played well, finishing with 18 points.
Tony Snell and Norman Powell will not play here due to injury.
The Clippers (0-2) are aiming to get their first win of the season.
Tyronn Lue's boys lost 120-114 against the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday. Paul George’s 41 points wasn’t enough for the Clippers, who lost to Golden State in their first game.
George will once again lead the Clippers and he will get the support of Reggie Jackson, Eric Bledsoe and Marcus Morris.
Kawhi Leonard remains sidelined for the Clippers.
The Clippers have beaten the Blazers in their last six meetings. Portland last won in the series back in March 2019.
