Both the Toronto Raptors and Philadelphia 76ers want to impress in their duel on Thursday.
The Raptors are coming off three straight losses to fall to a 6-6 record.
Nick Nurse’s side will head to Philadelphia after they tasted a 104-88 loss to Boston on Wednesday.
Rookie Scottie Barnes led Toronto with 21 points. Pascal Siakam is scheduled to be rested in this game so Barnes, OG Anunoby and Fred VanVleet are expected to lead the Raptors against the Sixers.
The Sixers (8-4) tasted losses to New York (103-96) and Milwaukee (118-109) in their last two games.
Tyrese Maxey (31 points) and reserve Georges Niang (21 points) led Philadelphia against the Bucks on Tuesday. Shake Milton (20 points) and Andre Drummond (17 points, 20 rebounds) also played well.
Seth Curry did not play in their last outing due to a foot injury and is game-time decision here. Joel Embiid, Matisse Thybulle and Isaiah Joe will continue to miss out for Philadelphia due to Covid-19 protocol. Tobias Harris is a game-time decision while Ben Simmons has not played this season due to personal reasons.
The Sixers won two of their three encounters with the Raptors last regular season.
