Bayern Munich vs Arminia Bielefeld Tips - Bayern tipped to bounce back

The powerhouse club suffered a shock 2-1 defeat at Augsburg in the Bavarian derby last week. Robert Lewandowski netted his league-best 14th goal of the season.

Despite losing their last game, Julian Nagelsmann's side still lead the league with 28 points from 12 games.

Bayern made up for that defeat by securing a 2-1 win at Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League on Tuesday. Lewandowski scored again while Kingsley Coman added another goal for the visitors.

Bayern have a long injury/Covid-19 list and among those who will not feature in this contest are Eric Choupo-Moting, Jamal Musiala, Serge Gnabry and Joshua Kimmich. Also absent are Marcel Sabitzer, Tanguy Nianzou, Lucas Hernandez and Josip Stanisic.

Arminia Bielefeld have just one win this season and they are in the relegation zone with nine points.

They recorded a 2-2 draw against Wolfsburg in the last round. Masaya Okugawa and Fabian Klos gave Frank Kramer's side a 2-0 advantage before they gave up two goals.

Only Florian Krüger will not be able to play for Bielefeld here due to illness.

The last meeting between Bayern and Arminia Bielefeld resulted in a 3-3 draw. Bayern had won six in a row in the series before that stalemate. Arminia Bielefeld last defeated Bayern in 2006.
