Chelsea are determined to recover against Leeds United in the English Premier League on Saturday.

The Blues tasted a 3-2 defeat to West Ham United in their last league game and they dropped to third place with 33 points from 15 games.

Thiago Silva and Mason Mount’s goals weren’t enough and their 12-match unbeaten streak in all competitions came to an end.

Chelsea recorded a 3-3 draw with Zenit St Petersburg in the Champions League in their last game. Timo Werner scored twice while Romelu Lukaku added one.

Jorginho and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are unlikely to feature for Thomas Tuchel's side while Mateo Kovacic, N'Golo Kanté, Ben Chilwell and Trevoh Chalobah are absent.

Leeds recorded a 2-2 draw against Brentford in their last game. Patrick Bamford struck in injury time to salvage a point for the Whites, who remain in 15th place with 16 points. Tyler Roberts put Leeds ahead in the first half before they gave up two goals in the second half.

Marcelo Bielsa's side have lost just once in their last seven Premier League games.

Kalvin Phillips was hurt in their last game and he won’t feature here. Robin Koch is also absent while Pascal Struijk and Liam Cooper are unsure.

The last match between Chelsea and Leeds in March ended in a 0-0 draw. The Blues last lost to the Whites in 2002.

Verdict

Chelsea are determined to recover and we hope it happens here.
