Sevilla are aiming to get their second straight win in La Liga on their visit to Espanyol on Sunday.
The Andalusian club beat Elche 2-0 in their previous game where Papu Gómez and Rafa Mir both scored. Sevilla remain in second place in the league with 50 points from 24 games.
Los Nervionenses are coming off a 3-1 victory over Dinamo Zagreb in the Round of 16 of the UEFA Europa League. Ivan Rakitic, Lucas Ocampos and Anthony Martial were on target to lead their team to victory in the first leg.
Sevilla boss Julen Lopetegui will not be able to use Gonzalo Montiel, Erik Lamela and Suso in this game due to injury.
Espanyol failed to win in their last five games in La Liga and their last six in all competitions.
