Ireland vs Portugal Tips - Win for Selecao

The Portuguese are currently in second place in the group with 16 points from six games while the Serbians have 17 points from seven games.

Portugal blasted Luxembourg 5-0 in Faro in their last game where Cristiano Ronaldo recorded a hat-trick. Bruno Fernandes and João Palhinha also scored to help Portugal get their fifth straight win including friendlies.

Anthony Lopes, Rafa Silva and Joao Mario have injuries and they will not feature in this game.

Ireland are in fourth place with five points and they have no more chance of qualifying for next year's World Cup in Qatar.

They thrashed Azerbaijan 3-0 in Baku in their last game. Callum Robinson recorded a brace and Chiedozie Ogbene also scored. Robinson scored a hat-trick in their 4-0 win over Qatar in a friendly last month.

James Collins will not play due to injury while Aaron Connolly was not selected. Jayson Molumby and Alan Browne could play again after their suspensions.

Portugal beat Ireland 2-1 in their first meeting last September. Ronaldo scored twice including the game winner in injury time. John Egan scored for the Irish.
