Leeds United vs Aston Villa Tips - Draw backed in this contest

The Whites are coming off a 1-0 defeat at Leicester City last Saturday in new manager Jesse Marsch’s first match with the West Yorkshire club since replacing Marcelo Bielsa.

They are currently ranked 16th in the table with 23 points.

Marsch will not be able to use Liam Cooper and Kalvin Phillips due to injuries.

Aston Villa are coming off impressive wins over Brighton (2-0) and Southampton (4-0) to improve to 11th place in the table with 33 points from 26 matches. Ollie Watkins, Douglas Luiz, Philippe Coutinho and Danny Ings were on target against the Saints.

Marvelous Nakamba, Lucas Digne and Ezri Konsa are the absentees for Steven Gerrard’s side. 

Leeds and Aston Villa battled to a 3-3 draw last month. Dan James gave the Whites an early lead before Philippe Coutinho tied the scores in the 30th minute. Jacob Ramsey gave the Villans the lead in the 38th minute and struck again five minutes later.

James scored again in the first half injury time before Diego Llorente once again tied the scores in the 63rd minute.
