Liverpool have been impressive in all competitions this season and they want to continue that against Brighton in the English Premier League on Saturday.

The Reds beat Preston North End 2-0 in the Round of 16 of the EFL Cup (Carabao Cup) on Wednesday to secure their fourth straight win in all competitions.

Liverpool thrashed Manchester United 5-0 in their last Premier League game. Mohamed Salah scored a hat-trick while Naby Keita and Diogo Jota also netted in the lopsided contest. Salah is the top scorer in the league with 10 goals.

Jürgen Klopp's side are currently in second place in the league with 21 points from nine games.

Thiago Alcantara, James Milner and Harvey Elliott will not play here due to injury.

Brighton lost 4-1 to Manchester City in their last Premier League game. Only Alexis Mac Allister (penalty) scored for the Seagulls, who are currently in fifth place with 15 points.

Brighton also lost against Leicester City in the EFL Cup in their last game. The match ended in a 2-2 draw before the Foxes prevailed 4-2 in the penalty shootout.

Brighton beat Liverpool 1-0 at Anfield in their last meeting in February. This was the Seagulls' first win in the series since 1984.
