The 5.00 joint favourites to win the Champions League go head to head in Group A on Tuesday night when Manchester City travel to PSG.

City thrashed Leipzig 6-3 in their group opener and defeated defending European champions Chelsea 1-0 at the weekend so they are 2.3 favourites to beat Mauricio Pochettino’s side who started the group stage with an unconvincing 1-1 draw at Club Brugge.

The teams met in the semi-finals of last season’s competition so let’s look at some of the markets and odds in our PSG v Manchester City betting tips.

City moved up to second in the Premier League table with a thoroughly deserved victory at Stamford Bridge on Saturday and they will be full of confidence having beaten the French giants home and away last season.

PSG have made a superb start to the Ligue 1 season with eight successive victories, putting them nine points clear at the top of the table but they are 2.9 underdogs to win Tuesday’s game and the draw is available at 3.6.

The French side made some incredible signings during the summer transfer window, with Lionel Messi topping the lot, but City are 3.7 to win and concede as they did last season when they fought back from a goal down at half-time to post a 2-1 win.

City’s fluid attack means they may not always play with a traditional centre forward.

Saturday’s win saw Phil Foden, Gabriel Jesus, Jack Grealish, Kevin de Bruyne and Bernardo Silva frequently interchanging positions, all held together by Rodri in a holding midfield role.

Pochettino played a 4-3-3 in Saturday’s 2-0 win against Montpellier in which Kylian Mbappe spearheaded the attack flanked by Neymar and Angel di Maria in the absence of Messi, with Leandro Paredes, Idrissa Gueye and Ander Herrera in midfield.

We are backing Man City to retain their impressive form on the road and secure this win in Paris.
