Rayo Vallecano vs Barcelona Tips - Barca tipped to bounce back

Rayo Vallecano lost to Real Betis 3-2 last week. Goals from Randy Nteka and Álvaro García tied the game but they surrendered a penalty in the 75th minute.

This is the second loss of Andoni Iraola's team in their last three games. Rayo Vallecano are currently in seventh place with 16 points from 10 games. Only Martin Merquelanz will not feature for Vallecano in this game.

Barcelona lost 2-1 to Real Madrid at Camp Nou on Sunday. Only Sergio Aguero scored for the Catalans in the highly anticipated El Clasico. Because of that defeat, Barcelona fell to ninth place with 15 points from nine games.

Frenkie de Jong will not feature here after he got hurt in their last game. Also absent are Pedri, Martin Braithwaite and Ronald Araujo. Ousmane Dembele is back in training and could feature here.

Barcelona have beaten Rayo Vallecano in their last 14 encounters in all competitions. The two sides last met at the Copa del Rey in January where the Catalans won 2-1. Vallecano last won a match in the series in 2002.
