Real Madrid are targeting their sixth straight win in La Liga when they host Athletic Bilbao on Wednesday.

Los Blancos beat Sevilla 2-1 on Sunday behind goals from Karim Benzema and Vinícius Júnior.

This is Benzema's 11th goal in La Liga this season and he is the league's top scorer while Vinícius Júnior is second with nine goals.

Carlo Ancelotti's side are currently at the top of the league with 33 points from 14 games.

Real Madrid have won six in a row in all competitions and are unbeaten in their last nine games.

Dani Ceballos, Eden Hazard and Gareth Bale have yet to recover from their injuries and they are not expected to feature here.

Bilbao failed to pick up a win in their last five games where they recorded four draws and one loss. The Basque club are in eighth place with 20 points from 14 games.

Marcelino's side recorded a 2-2 draw against Granada in their last outing. Raul Garcia scored the opening goal but Luís Maximiano had an own goal while Íñigo Martínez got a red card in injury time.

Aside from Martinez, Asier Villalibre, Daniel Vivian, Peru Nolaskoain and Yuri Berchiche will also not feature in this match.
