Salzburg and Sevilla will face off in a crucial game in Group G of the Champions League on Wednesday.

Salzburg are currently in second place with seven points while Sevilla are in third spot with six points. Lille lead the group with eight points while Wolfsburg are at the bottom with five points. All four teams still have a chance of reaching the last 16 of the competition.

The first match between Salzburg and Sevilla in September resulted in a 1-1 draw with Luka Sucic and Ivan Rakitic trading penalties.

Salzburg suffered back-to-back defeats to Wolfsburg (2-1) and Lille (1-0) in their last two Champions League games.

Matthias Jaissle's side are coming off a 2-1 win over Hartberg in the Austrian Bundesliga.

Salzburg have a long injury list and among those who will not play here are Noah Okafor, Albert Vallci, Bernardo, Maximilian Wöber, Zlatko Junuzovic, Sekou Koita and Bryan Okoh.

Sevilla beat Wolfsburg 2-0 in their last Champions League game behind goals from Joan Jordan and Rafa Mir.

Sevilla lost to Real Madrid 2-1 in their next game in La Liga but they recovered against Cordoba (1-0) in the Copa del Rey and Villarreal (1-0) in the domestic league.

Erik Lamela, Suso, Jesús Navas and Youssef En-Nesyri have injuries for Sevilla.

Expect a draw in this battle.
