Southampton extended their unbeaten run in all competitions to five matches with a 2-0 win against Everton on Saturday. Stuart Armstrong and Shane Long struck for the Saints, who are currently ranked 10th in the table with 32 points from 25 matches.
Alex McCarthy, Nathan Tella and Lyanco won’t feature for Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhüttl due to injury.
Norwich have dropped to the bottom of the Premier League after two consecutive defeats. The Canaries lost 4-0 at home against Man City before a 3-1 setback at Liverpool.
Milot Rashica gave Norwich the lead after half time before Liverpool responded with three late goals.
Norwich have lost four of their last five away with defeats at West Ham (2-0), Crystal Palace and Tottenham (3-0).
Adam Idah and Andrew Omobamidele are out for Norwich City boss Dean Smith’s side.
Norwich beat Southampton 2-1 back in November. Che Adams gave the Saints the lead in the fourth minute before Teemu Pukki retaliated for the Canaries three minutes later. Grant Hanley netted home the winning goal in the 79th minute as the Canaries halted their three-game skid against the Saints.
