Spain and Sweden will fight for the Group B top spot in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers in Seville on Sunday.

The winner of this game will directly advance to next year's tournament in Qatar while the loser will proceed to the play-offs and have another chance of entering the prestigious competition.

The Spaniards have 16 points while the Swedes have 15 so La Roja only need a draw in this game to book an outright World Cup ticket while their opponent need to win to advance.

Sweden beat Spain 2-1 in Solna in their first meeting in September. Carlos Soler and Alexander Isak exchanged goals early before Viktor Claesson sealed the win for the Swedes in the second half.

Spain are coming off a 1-0 win over Greece on Thursday. Pablo Sarabia’s penalty in the first half gave the Spaniards a win in Athens.

This is Spain's fourth win in their last five matches across all competitions.

Ansu Fati, Yeremi Pino and Eric Garcia have injuries and they will not feature in this game. Gavi was hurt in their last game but he is expected to play here.

Sweden suffered a 2-0 defeat to Georgia on Thursday. Sweden boss Janne Andersson has no injury concerns while Albin Ekdal returns from suspension.

Isak, Claesson, Emil Forsberg and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are again expected to lead the Swedes in this game.

Verdict

Expect a win for Spain and both teams can score in this game.
