Tottenham's game against Burnley on Sunday was postponed due to bad weather so they are well-rested against Brentford on Thursday.

The Spurs last played in the Europa League last week where they tasted a 2-1 defeat at Mura. Only Harry Kane scored for Tottenham while Ryan Sessegnon got a red card.

Tottenham beat Leeds 2-1 in their last Premier League game. The Spurs first gave up a goal before Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Sergio Reguilon struck in the second half. Antonio Conte's side are in seventh place with 19 points from 12 games.

Hojbjerg and Son Heung-min are Tottenham's top scorers. Giovani Lo Celso and Cristian Romero have injuries and will not feature for the Spurs in this duel.

Brentford beat Everton 1-0 on Sunday to break their three-match winless spell. Ivan Toney’s penalty in the first half sealed the win for the Bees, who climbed to 16th place with 16 points from 13 games.

Brentford boss Thomas Frank will not be able to use Zanka, Kristoffer Ajer and David Raya in this game due to injuries.

Tottenham and Brentford last crossed paths in the League Cup (Carabao Cup) back in January where the Spurs won 2-0 in London behind goals from Moussa Sissoko and Son. The Spurs are unbeaten in their last 11 games against the Bees, who last won a match in the series in 1948.

Verdict

We expect Tottenham to triumph in this game.
