Watford vs Liverpool Tips - Back Reds to triumph

Watford sacked boss Xisco Munoz after losing at Leeds 1-0 in their last match, despite picking up seven points from their opening seven games to sit four points clear of the relegation zone. 

Claudio Ranieri has been brought in as his replacement. The veteran manager is best remembered for steering Leicester to a surprise Premier League crown in 2016. He returns to the top-flight after last handling Fulham in the 2019 season.

Liverpool are second in the table with 15 points, one point behind leaders Chelsea, following a 2-2 draw with Manchester City and they are the only club in the league that have yet to lose a game.

Sadio Mané and Mohamed Salah were the goal scorers for the Reds, who recorded their second straight draw in the Premier League. 

The Reds have won two and drawn one on the road this season, while Watford have only won one of their three games at home, losing one and drawing the other. 

Watford did win their most recent home game against Liverpool 3-0 in February 2020 behind a brace from Ismaïla Sarr and another goal from Troy Deeney but that's their only win against the Reds since 2015.
