Chelsea are aiming to secure the top spot in Group H of the Champions League after their clash with Zenit St Petersburg on Wednesday.
The Blues and Juventus are tied at the top of the group with 12 points but the defending champions have an edge in head-to-head goal difference.
Chelsea walloped Juventus 4-0 in their last game in the Champions League. Starring for the Blues were Trevoh Chalobah, Reece James, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Timo Werner who all scored one goal apiece. This is the Blues' third straight win in this competition.
Chelsea are determined to bounce back after suffering a 3-2 defeat to West Ham United in the English Premier League on Saturday. Goals from Thiago Silva and Mason Mount weren’t enough and their 12-game unbeaten streak in all competitions came to an end.
Mateo Kovacic, Trevoh Chalobah, Kai Havertz, Ben Chilwell and N'Golo Kante have injuries and they will not feature for Thomas Tuchel's side. Marcos Alonso is doubtful after he was injured in their last game.
Zenit are sure to finish third in the group and they will continue their campaign in the Europa League.
The Russian Premier League champions recorded a 1-1 draw with Malmo in their last game. Yaroslav Rakitskiy hit a penalty in injury time to force a draw.
They followed it up with a 2-0 win over CSKA Moscow and a 2-2 draw against Rostov in the domestic league.
Zenit boss Sergei Semak will not be able to use Stanislav Kritsyuk in this game due to injury. Dmitriy Chistyakov is suspended after getting a red card against Malmo.
Chelsea beat Zenit 1-0 at Stamford Bridge in September with Romelu Lukaku scoring the lone goal.
We think Chelsea can win this game without giving up a goal.
