Joe Burrow will make his much-anticipated return to the field on Monday after his rookie season was cut short in Week 11 due to a torn ACL last year.
Burrow was well on his way to Rookie of the Year honours before that happened, and not surprisingly, the Bengals have wasted no time surrounding him with more talent in the form of No. 5 overall pick Ja’Marr Chase.
Minnesota, on the other hand, is one of the toughest teams to get a read on.
The Vikings are still stacked with talent offensively, but their defence took a big step backward last year to rank fourth in points allowed.
Injuries were largely to blame for that regression, but there’s no doubting this young and exciting Bengals offence is going to be a handful for many teams this year.
Before Burrow got hurt, the Bengals were averaging 27 points per game at home last year.
