Huddersfield Town vs Fulham Tips, Predictions & Free Bets

Huddersfield Town have found life difficult back in the Championship and they will host Scott Parker's Fulham side this coming Friday night.

Parker's team come into the game having won 2-0 at home at the weekend, but their poor away form suggests we could be in for a draw.

Huddersfield Town Form & Team News

Huddersfield's last game ended in disappointment when they threw away a 1 goal lead in the last 10 minutes away at QPR.

Jan Siewert's side were on the back foot for large portions of the game but had stolen a lead through a Karlan Grant penalty just after half-time. The side were dominated in possession and have still not scored from open play in their first two games.

Their last home game ended in a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Derby, and Siewert's men struggled to take control of the fixture against their more fancied opponents.

Siewert has brought in former Manchester United and Hull striker, Frazer Campbell this past week and they will look to him to get their campaign up and running from a goal-scoring perspective. The Terriers are also on a horrible run of form at home, having lost 11 of their last 14 competitive games on their home turf.

They are currently being valued at 2.87 with bet365 to pick up their first home victory since February. It is worth noting that Huddersfield did manage to pick up a victory against Fulham the last time these two teams met in the venue.

Fulham Form & Team News

Fulham come into Friday's game on the back of a 2-0 win against Blackburn at Craven Cottage this past weekend. Their victory came courtesy of goals from Tom Cairney and Aleksandar Mitrovic.

While Scott Parker's men look comfortable on the ball, dominating 60% of possession, they only managed to get two shots on target during the game. They were left frustrated after dominating Barnsley away on the opening day but failing to score.

Fulham's defeat to Barnsley was yet another disappointing away day for the London side. The Cottagers have lost nine of their last ten away games. Scott Parker will know this needs to improve if he is to seal a return to the Premier League for the club.

Fulham have no new injury worries at the moment and are likely to name a similar side to the one who won at Blackburn last weekend.

Huddersfield vs Fulham - Stalemate is highly likely

Huddersfield are on a terrible run of form at home, and Fulham are on a terrible run of form away. The two sides are not likely to break those runs on Friday as a draw looks as though it will be the most likely result.

Huddersfield have failed to find the net from open play so far this season, while Fulham have struggled to make any of their dominance in games really amount to anything.

Huddersfield vs Fulham- Bet on a draw

All signs in this encounter point towards the game ending in a draw. While Fulham did manage to dominate possession against Blackburn at the weekend, they also only managed to create two shots on target, and that, coupled with Huddersfield having failed to score from open play at all this campaign, implies we may not have an exciting encounter on our hands this weekend.

The draw is currently being valued at 3.25 by bet365, which looks as though it could be an excellent value bet to place.

The game doesn't really look as though it is going to offer too many goals either. A bet on under 1.5 goals is excellent value with bet365 at 3.75.
