Brighton Form & Team News
Brighton have had a very strong start to their season. They secured a comfortable 3-0 victory away at Watford on the opening day and were unlucky to draw 1-1 with West Ham last weekend after dominating large portions of the game. Leandro Trossard grabbed the Seagull's goal against the Hammers.
Graham Potter, as he did with Swansea, has got Brighton playing exciting football and they will no doubt continue to get among the goals this season. Potter may hand a full start to summer signing Neal Maupay. The former Brentford star grabbed a goal on the opening day against Watford after coming off the bench and then made an appearance last week against West Ham.
Brighton are great value at 2.5 to win the match with bet365. Their high pressing approach leaves them exposed though and a draw at 3.25 is better value.
Southampton Form & Team News
The Saints have struggled to get off the ground this season. They were defeated comfortably 3-0 on the opening day by Burnley but were unlucky to lose at home to Liverpool 2-1. Danny Ings was on the scoresheet in that game.
Ralph Hasenhüttl will take plenty of positives from the team's performance against Liverpool and will want to see more of that against Brighton. Danny Ings's goal could put him in Hasenhüttl's starting 11 this week after Che Adams has failed to make too much of an impression in his opening two games.
Southampton are priced at 3.28 to pick up the victory. Hasenhüttl's men have a good record at the Amex having scored there in their last four visits but a win may be a stretch for them on Saturday.
Brighton vs Southampton - Score Draw
Brighton's high pressing style of football is going to be fun to watch in the Premier League this season. The team looked excellent against West Ham but are likely to find themselves exposed to counter-attacks throughout the campaign which will see them lose a lot of points.
Southampton have a solid record at the Amex and have scored there on their last four visits. They have also won their last two journeys to their South coast neighbours.
Southampton showed signs of promise against Liverpool and Saturday's game should promise to be entertaining. A draw seems like the most likely outcome, with Ralph Hasenhüttl continuing his search for a first win in the Premier League this season.
Brighton vs Southampton Tips- Both Teams to Score Backed
Graham Potter's tactics this season mean that Brighton are going to be worth keeping an eye on in the both teams to score market. Their high line leaves them exposed and I predict that will be the case again on Saturday.
Southampton will feel more confident after narrowly losing to Liverpool and should have enough to get a draw here. Both teams to score is currently priced at 1.80 and is great value. A draw is also great value at 3.25. All odds are with bet365.
