Bournemouth Form & Team News

Bournemouth have had quite a busy summer in the transfer market, with the club making several impressive signings.

Lloyd Kelly has arrived from Bristol City to add to the team's defence, while midfielders Arnaut Danjuma and Phillip Billing will also prove to be useful signings.

It's not all been good news this summer though, with midfielder Dan Gosling having surgery to repair a hip injury, ruling him out for the start of the season.

The club have played six pre-season fixtures, winning three of them, losing two and drawing one, with their most notable victory coming against former French Ligue 1 Champions, Lyon.

Sheffield United Form & Team News

Sheffield United were the surprise package in the Championship last season, with Chris Wilder achieving an unlikely promotion on an incredibly modest budget.

The club will find things difficult in the Premier League this season, with many tipping them to be relegated at the end of the campaign.

The Blades have made several signings throughout the summer, with Bournemouth striker Lys Mousset likely to make his debut against his former club this weekend.

The signing of Swansea striker, Oliver McBurnie has seen the club splash quite a lot of cash, but the player, like a lot of United's squad, is lacking Premier League experience.

The best deal of their summer is arguably getting highly-rated goalkeeper, Dean Henderson back on loan.

Henderson kept 21 clean sheets for The Blades last season and they will need him to be at his best if they are to survive in the Premier League.

Chris Wilder has very few injuries to worry about, with winger Callum Robinson the club's only doubt ahead of the match.

Bournemouth Vs Sheffield United Analysis- Bournemouth to record an opening day victory

Bournemouth were given a newly promoted side to face on the opening day of last season in the form of Cardiff City and Eddie Howe will be grateful to have been given what many consider to be one of the easier fixtures of the campaign to start this year.

Chris Wilder has insisted that his squad will play the same way they did in the Championship, which means that we will be seeing plenty of attacking football from The Blades this season.

Unfortunately for them, they will be coming up against players of a much higher calibre and they are going to struggle to make much of an impact at this level unless they can adapt to survive.

Sheffield United strikers Billy Sharp and David McGoldrick were both fantastic for the club last season but they are both likely to struggle at a higher level.

Howe will want to get his side off to a strong start and you can expect he will be ready to attack United and build some early momentum.

Bournemouth Vs Sheffield United Tips- Bournemouth win offers good value

Bet365 currently have Bournemouth priced at 1.95 for the victory on Saturday, which is great value given the fact that Sheffield United have very little experience at this level.

They are also offering odds on Bournemouth 2-0 at 10.00 for those who fancy a great value correct score bet.

Verdict

While Sheffield United will no doubt put up a fight, their lack of experience is likely to sting them on Saturday as Bournemouth will aim to make a good impression on the opening day.
