1xBet announces sponsorship deal with Filipino basketball player Kai Sotto
21-year-old rising star will represent the global betting site in several Asian countries

Young Filipino professional basketball player Kai Sotto has signed for 1xBet.

Kai Sotto is 1xBet's new brand ambassador for Asia. He will represent 1xBet in the Philippines and across Asia, including in Japan, China, Indonesia and Thailand.

The 21-year-old, who hopes to make it as a player in the NBA, has already played in North America on an invitational basis in the 2023 NBA Summer League for Orlando Magic.

He also represented the Philippines in last year's FIBA Basketball World Cup.

A 1xBet spokesperson said of the sponsorship agreement: We are pleased to become a partner of one of the most promising players in Asia at the very beginning of his great path."

The signing of the Yokohama B-Corsairs star is the latest of 1xBet's numerous sponsorship deals worldwide.

The global betting site's list of official partners in recent years has included top European soccer clubs FC Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and LOSC Lille, as well as Spanish league La Liga, and Italy's Serie A

1xBet said this agreement was part of their “global strategy to support sports in Southeast Asia and will help increase brand awareness in the region".
